Privacy Policy

Plainly: this site doesn't know who you are, what you ate, or what you tipped.

What Gets Collected

Nothing personal. The bill amounts, percentages and party sizes you enter are processed entirely inside your browser and are never sent anywhere. The site has no accounts, no sign-up and no ad trackers, and its own code sets no cookies. The one third-party service in use is described below.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate visitor traffic, such as how many people visit and which pages they view. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data according to Google's own privacy policy. The amounts you enter never reach that measurement, and the site itself does not collect names, emails or accounts.

Local Storage

The site stores exactly one thing on your device: your light or dark theme preference, saved in your browser's localStorage so it sticks between visits. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data wipes it.

Server Logs

The hosting provider that delivers these pages may keep routine server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and uptime purposes, as nearly all web hosts do. Those logs belong to the host and follow its policies; the only measurement this site adds is the analytics service described below.

Third Parties

Google Analytics, described above, is the only third-party script that loads; there are no third-party fonts, pixels or embeds beyond it. If ads ever appear here, the ad network would bring its own privacy policy and this page would be updated to say so.
